Sarah Winter Clothworks Window Display
Church Street, Willimantic Spring-Fall 2007 In the Spring of 2007, Graphic Design 3 students at Eastern Connecticut State University submitted designs for the windows of a local clothing store, Sarah Winter Clothworks. Clothworks is owned by Sarah Winter and Mark Svetz, who design and make their own line of socially and environmentally conscious clothing and accessories. sarahwinterclothworks.com During the summer of 2007, Michelle Cunningham, Hanna Shea, Mike DeFazio and Dale DaRos used digital media, natural and found objects to make their window design a reality. In early September, students completed their design project by installing their design in Clothworks windows. In this project, students used their design skills to make a contribution to the community and expand their idea of how digital art and design can be used. |
